Time to Reflect

As 2014 comes to an end, I guess we all look back on the past year's events and think.... 

about the good times, bad times, special times, sad moments.

Things we'd like to go back and change, other things we wish we had done sooner!

Hi there! Thanks for coming to read my latest words...

The Disguise Of A Smile

Life's full of good times, sad times too

Friends make the difference, they help us get through

But can you imagine if no-one was there?

No-one to talk to, no-one to care.

Perhaps take a moment and open your eyes

See the girl who wears a smile as her disguise

Inside she's hurting and feeling so sad

Would reaching out to her really be so bad?

Put on her shoes and see how you'd feel

You'd see it's her tears not her smile that is real

A friend would mean more than you could know

Go make a difference, you can start with 'Hello'.

More Than Words

Hello and thank you so much for visiting my blog today!

It's been a long time since my last post, I have been writing though, a lot! And I am so happy that some of my poems are now available as stamps, made by Visible Image, for crafters to use to make cards and projects with. 

Visible Image is owned by my wonderful fiancé Mark, who is a very talented designer.

Here are a few verses I've written over the past year 

which I must say I am extremely proud of!

These poems sold out in just 40 minutes on the Create & Craft TV shopping channel :)

It was an emotional moment to see so many people buying something you have written.

Let it out

Some days grief just creeps up on you

You’ve been coping so well lately

It takes you by surprise

Knocks you down

Tears come from nowhere

Memories, feelings come flooding back

All you can do is let it out

The hurt, the pain

Until it subsides

And all feels calmer again

For now

Love is in the air!

Hello! Thank you for visiting my blog!

I don't get much time to write at the moment, 

but hoping I will have more time very soon!

I have been through quite a lot in my life, and 

have so much inside me that I want to let out.

Writing is like therapy for me.

Today I am sharing a few 'loved up'

verses and poems I have written...

The Depth of My Love

My pulse races, my heart aches 
I feel you deep inside

I see you when my eyes are closed 
And when they're open wide

Your smell, your kiss, your gentle touch

I never knew I could love this much

I'll never ever let you go

You're my forever love, I know

This Love

My love for him is so pure, so strong

I truly know just where I belong

When he holds me I tremble and melt in his arms

I feel so safe, feel adored feel so calm

When we look into each others eyes

There really is no disguise

Our feelings are there, so real, so true

There's nothing that I wouldn't do

For him, he is my everything

I will never be alone again

I adore you
Everything that you are

Everything that you say and do

I’m never going to let you down

or let you go

I felt an ache inside of me
A yearning

For as long as I can remember

Wanting to feel this way about someone

And for them to feel the same way about me

Now I’ve found it, with you

Find your way through

A time of great change is upon you

Uncertainty and the unknown

So much on your mind it’s overwhelming

How to move on and start anew

Know that I’m here to listen and care

I’ll hold your hand so tightly

Listen to your fears, your dreams and desires

Help ease your worries away

What we go through makes us stronger

I’ve learned that lesson well

We can face anything you and I

We’ll get through the storm,

and feel the sun on the other side

We have each other

We have forever

And that’s all we will ever need
